Zella May Bell McCutcheon was called home by her Heavenly Father September 13, 2016. Zella was born December 26, 1939, 6th child of 10 to George Willard and Laura Alice Lease Bell at home in West Mansfield, Ohio.

Zella met James (Jim) McCutcheon at church in El Segundo, California and married September 2, 1961. To this union four daughters were born. Zella was primarily a homemaker, her family was her world. With the birth of her grandchildren, Zell opened an in home daycare where she provided childcare for far more than family and many that became family. She exuberated love for children. She loved gardening, cooking and children. Zell could usually be found in the backyard roasting wieners, playing kickball, tetherball, basketball or bird watching. At church, her VBS decorating and cooking will always be fondly remembered. She served in Bed Babies, filled in as a Teacher in her woman''s Sunday school class when needed and was always generous with time and groceries for dinners, VBS and holiday baskets. She thoroughly loved her TEL class friends and going on outings with the seniors as well as caroling at Christmas.

Zell was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Don and Tom Bell and 4 sisters, Mary Bell, Mable Bell, Freda Hofner and Phyllis Preston. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jim McCutcheon; 3 sisters, Pat Griner, Dorothy Price and Nancy Robertson; daughters, Laura Ann (Kelli) and Tommy McCormick of Lebanon, MO, Sharon and David Brooks of Springfield, MO, Jamie and Tom Colvard of Brighton, MO and Susan and Donnie Hall of Walnut Grove, MO; 11 grandchildren and their spouses, Earl and Crystal McCormick, Nicole McCormick, Robin and Chuck Johnson, Laurie Mosier, Matthew and Mariann Brooks, Travis and Shannon Brooks, Skott Brooks and Fianc Meagan Rippee, Morgan Colvard, Marcus and Lina Colvard, Jacob and Jeremy Hall; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; an amazing Golden Avenue Baptist Church family and many life long friends

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to GABC Building fund or Hospice of the Ozarks.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 4 till 7 pm at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy. EE (Division). Service will be on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
