Obituary

Wilma Naomi Gardner, 88 of Springfield was born on November 1, 1924 to John A and Patience (Mason) Ward. She passed away on May 28, 2013.

She married James W. Gardner on April 4, 1942, was a lifetime member of Central Christian Church, enjoyed reading, sewing, handwork, quilting and helping at Church with the active Christian Women''s Fellowship

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Becky Bell; son, David Gardner and wife Patti; 4 grandchildren, Jeff Bell, Tina Fowler and husband Tom, Cathy Gardner, Carrie Carr and husband Brad; 6 great-grandchildren, Tara, Tess, Cayla, Carolyn, Neil and Joe; 2 great-great-grandchilren, Kendall and Jacob; sister-in-laws, Jo Gardner and Jane Gardner and a host of family and friends. Preceded in death by her loving husband James; parents; 2 sons, James W. Gardner Jr. and Daniel Gardner; 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10:00 am at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

The family has requested donations to be made to Central Christian Church in honor of Wilma N. Gardner. 1475 N Washington Ave, Springfield, MO 65802
