Wilma was born and raised in Ozark, MO. She was one of four children born to Jewell and Nola Forgey and graduated from Ozark High School.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Itys Wade Anderson. They were members of Orchard Crest Baptist Church in Springfield, MO where they were active volunteers in the church. Wilma was an excellent cook, an avid reader, and loved to crochet afghans. Upon the loss of her beloved husband Wilma moved to be with family in Conyers, GA where she lived for the past 19 years and attended Rockdale Baptist Church.
Wilma's family dearly loved her and she will be sorely missed by family and friends. We celebrate her life and faith and know that she is residing in heaven where we will see her again. Wilma is survived by her sister Imogene Fowler of Conyers, GA and several nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Springfield, MO on Tuesday, December 13th, 2011 at 2 p.m. where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
Arrangements are under the direction of Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Midtown.
