William "Bill" Thomas DeVol, 94, of Springfield, MO passed away Monday May 5, 2014 in his home. He was born December 18, 1919 in Glens Falls, NY. He was an artist for the Assembly of God Headquarters. Bill was a very skilled violinist, craftsman, humorist, devout Christian, humanitarian and loved to read and learn throughout his entire life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude "Trudy" Estella Greene DeVol. He is survived by his beloved companion and fellow musician Rosemary Bane, his children, Thomas DeVol, Suzanne Dorsey, David DeVol and Edward DeVol, and many loving grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10 a.m. and Visitation will be Friday, May 9, 2014 from 5 to 7 PM, both at Klingner-Cope at Midtown, 1635 N. Benton, Springfield.
