William David Shank, 76, of Springfield, MO entered the glorious presence of our Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, November 5, 2018. He was born on Thursday, October 29, 1942 in Springfield, MO to Lola Mae Davis and Kenneth Elmer Shank.

Bill married Joyce Ann Wright at the Webster Park Baptist Church in Springfield, MO on June 30, 1961 and to this union two sons were born. He retired from the Frisco BNSF Railroad. Bill was a Deacon at the Second Baptist Church and also ministered to patients at local hospitals. He never met a stranger and loved being social, doughnuts, half cups of hot coffee and spending time with friends and family, especially his grandkids.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Jack, Stan and Ron Shank.

He is survived by his wife, his two sons Greg Shank (wife Sherry) of Nixa, MO and Shannon Shank (wife Tammy) of Springfield, MO, one brother Ken Shank of Springfield, MO, one sister Linda Pollock of Ft. Worth, TX, five grandchildren Shyla, Brittain, Mason, Camden and Brendan, one great-granddaughter Laiken and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
