William "Bill" Phillips, 78, was born May 10, 1934 in Springfield, MO and passed away June 30, 2012 after a long illness.
Bill was a bricklayer for over 46 years and a member of the Missouri-Kansas Bricklayer''s and Allied Craft Workers Local Union #15 for over 50 years. He was an avid fan of Nascar and he loved to fish.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Faye; parents, Cecil and Lula Phillips and sister, Carolyn Ann.
He is survived by son, Mike Phillips; daughter, Robin Walker and husband, Larry; 3 granddaughters, Brandi Crouch and husband, Andy, Jamie Lane and husband, Cody and Jade Phillips and 6 great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 6-8 PM in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE (W. Division), Springfield, MO. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 at 10 AM in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
