William, (Bill) G. Wynn, age 84, of Republic passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022. He was born January 26, 1938 in Hobbs, NM to Floyd and Wilma (Barber) Wynn. Bill married Wanda Rowe December 7, 1993 in Colorado. Bill died to self and was born again in 1973 in Colorado Springs, CO. Bill's occupation was a telephone lineman at Fort Carson, CO.

Bill was also very proud to have joined the U. S. Navy. He was very patriotic and loved and respected veterans. He would always strike up a conversation with them and thank them for their service. He never knew a stranger.  He was very likeable and outgoing. He loved to play and sing for people in church, nursing homes, or where ever people would sit still and listen. Bill said, "I always got up one more time with the Father's help." Bill's last prayer was "Heavenly Father, into thy hands, through Jesus Christ your Son, I commit my soul and my spirit unto your care."

Bill is preceded in death by his parents: Floyd and Wilma Wynn, two sisters Barbara Jean (Wynn) Basile (Joe), Joyce Eloise (Wynn) Hunt (Joe).

Bill is survived by his wife Wanda Wynn; two daughters Lila Jo Headley, Carolyn Tryon (Darryl) two sons Roy (Kathleen) Thompson, and Duane (Jamie) Standifer; several grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many friends and music fans.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Klingner-Cope Funeral Home Chapel at Rivermonte, Springfield. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Chapel. A graveside service will be held at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, Springfield, Missouri.
