Wilda Mae High, age 79 of Springfield, Mo, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on February 13, 1932 in Linn Creek, MO to Raymond and Dalilah Carroll.
She married Charles Richard High in 1951, she was an RN and her hobbies were sewing, carving and scout leader.
Wilda is preceded in death by her husband Charles R. High, parents, two sisters, June Tummons and Lucille Carroll, three grandchildren, Scotty Allen High, John Richard High and Tahlia Kristine High.
She is survived by her children, Charles Robert High and Evon, James Richard and Theresa High, Joseph Allen and Tammy High, Kathy High, Carrie Ann High, 10 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, brother, Darrell and Wilda Carroll and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, February 7 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 2 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens
