Wesley Robert Smith, Jr, 19, passed away in Springfield, MO on Saturday, April 18, 2015. He was born on January 11, 1996, in Independence, MO to Christina Flavell and Wesley Smith, Sr.

Wesley had a huge heart and was loved by everyone who knew him. He loved to make people laugh and his motto was "Just Have Fun". He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and listening to music.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lee Smith; and his maternal grandfather, Gary Shirk.

He is survived by his parents; brothers: Robert Wright, Colorado Springs, CO; Stephen Smith, Boston, MA; Brandon and Jaiden Shirk, Springfield, MO; sisters: Desiree Shirk, Springfield, MO; Amber (Joey) Silvis, Warrensburg, MO; Izzy Newton, Elk City, OK; Savannah Smith Elk City, OK; one sibling on the way and numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 2-3 P.M. at Klingner-Cope Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave, Springfield, MO 65804. A graveside service will follow in the Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.

Memorial donations may be made in the form of love offerings to the family in care of Klingner-Cope at Rivermonte.
