Wayne Allen Dailey, 62, of Willard, MO went to his heavenly home on Friday, March 16, 2018. He was born on Tuesday, June 14, 1955 in Springfield, MO to Della Louise Abbott and Wilburn Roy Dailey.

Wayne graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1973. He was employed and retired from the City of Springfield. Wayne was involved in the Boy Scouts of America, the Optimist Club, the Jacee's and was a beloved member of the Willard Fire Protection District for 22 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter-in-law Chris Whitman and one brother Will.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 40 years Linda, four sons Tim Whitman, Brian Whitman (wife Kim), Wayne Allen Dailey Jr. (wife Angie) and Mikey Dailey (wife Rachel), nine grandchildren Brittany, T.J., Samantha, Bobby, Regan, Isaac, Cooper, Lauren and Sydney, two great-grandchildren Danielle and Alivana and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO 65802, with services to follow at 2pm.
