IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Warren
Brown
March 28, 1942 – May 10, 2022
Warren Wesley Brown Jr., 80, of Springfield, MO departed this life for his heavenly home on Friday, May 10, 2022. He was born on Saturday, March 28, 1942 in Goodland, KS to Warren Brown Sr. and Vivian Marie (Fothergill) Brown.
Warren enjoyed riding his motorcycle, especially in his younger years when he would ride through the mountains of Colorado. He loved to meet people and invest in their lives the best way he knew how. Warren started his working career as a heavy machine operator and an over the road truck driver. He then worked maintenance at Consumers Bakery for 18 years and Nestle Purina for 5 years before retiring. Warren and his wife Linda spent many years improving their home and building things on their property. He taught Linda how to fix things around the house. This year Warren celebrated 48 years of sobriety. Over those 48 years, he spent time going to jails and talking to inmates about their alcoholism. Warren really cared about trying to help others break their alcohol habits. In doing so, he made lasting friendships. Warren deeply loved his daughter, grandchildren, Kailey's little dog Lily and most importantly he loved the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Louis and Lawrence Brown and two sisters Joann Brown and Dollymae House.
Warren is survived by his loving wife Linda of the home, one daughter Tonya Stagner (husband Mark) of Fenton, MO, two step-children Sherry Letterman (husband Jamie) of Springfield, MO and David Chandler (wife Diane) of Nixa, MO, seven grandchildren Rachel, Rick, Jarin Chandler, Corey Ehrhardt, Jordan Chandler, Noah Chandler and Kailey Letterman, three great-grandchildren Korbin Ebbs, Ryleigh Smith and Grayson Ehrhardt and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 1-2 PM on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W.
