Wanda Fern (Lane) Epperly, 83, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Sonshine Manor, Republic. She was born April 23, 1929 in Christian County, MO the daughter of Malcolm and Lucille Fulton. She was united in marriage to William Lawrence Lane in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1983. In January 1986 she married Quentin Epperly, who preceded her in death in 2010.

Fern''s lifelong occupation was that of homemaker, wife and mother. She was a sweet, gentle soul who will be greatly missed. Fern was a longtime member of Kansas Expressway Church of Christ in Springfield.

She is survived by her children Larry (Bettye) Lane, Janet (Eddie) Howard, stepchildren Dennis (Brenda) Epperly and Patricia Fordyce; her siblings Vivian Denney, Darlene Willis, Carol Fuentes, Kathy Wilson and Jack Fulton; grandchildren Kimberlee Fort, Mark Lane, Lane Bright, Chad Bright, Stacy Boyer; her great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m. February 15, 2013 at Klingner-Cope Rivermonte Chapel in Springfield with burial to follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens. A formal visitation is not planned.
