Wanda J. Elliott, age 88 passed away March 19, 2013 in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born to John and Pearl Elliott in Ava, Missouri. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters: Angelene Kellogg, Samantha Archer, Mary Bartley and Loeta Graybell. She is survived by a sister Lucy Linegar and her husband, Huey and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Wanda retired from what is now Missouri State University after 24 years of service. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Springfield for many years, working with the youth groups which she enjoyed very much.

Services will be held at the First Baptist Church, 525 South Street on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Overton officiating. Burial will follow at the Ava Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Midtown.
