Wanda Lou Freeman Boyd, 95, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away August 22, 2025. She was born July 13, 1930, to Enoch Emmit Freeman and Florence Rebecca (Umphres) Freeman. On December 1, 1949, she married Harold M. Boyd who passed away in 2022.

In addition to her husband, she was proceeded in death by her parents and her husband's parents, Sherman & Lillian Boyd, her sister, Mildred E. Whitlock, her brother, Adrien E. Freeman, nephews Donald Whitlock and Darrell Whitlock and infant niece, Rebecca Freeman.

She is survived by her sisters-in-law Jeanne Freeman and Mary Boyd, brothers-in-law Jim Boyd and Richard Boyd (Collette) and several generations of nephews, nieces, and cousins, and family friends.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, MO 65804. Online condolences can be made at www.klingnerfuneralhome.com
