Walter Robert "Bob" Fouraker 77 of Willard, Mo beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and a friend to so many passed away on Thursday December 3, 2020.
He was born in Jacksonville, FL on April 16, 1943. Bob and his family moved to Willard Mo when he was 5 years old. He spent his entire life in Willard. Bob graduating from Willard High he joined the Arm Reserve and spent his active duty time in Fort Eustis, VA. Bob was a lifetime member and Deacon of First Baptist Church in Willard. He was the co-founder of the Grand Prairie Gazette later called Cross Country Times. Bob owned his own print shop from which he retired. For many years Bob enjoyed being on the board for the Willard Fire Protection District. He stayed active in life with many hobbies but golfing, intarsia, and wood-carving was his passion and he did exquisite work. Bob got his woodworking skills from his father and could make anything he set his mind on. He loved spending time with his family.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents Ollie and Minnie Fouraker and a son-in- law, John Choate.
He is survived by his wife Shirley, the love of his life, for 56 years; two daughters Sheryl (Jeff) Buttram, Karen Choate; three grandsons Chance, Spencer, and Tristen Buttram; all from Willard, one brother Joe Fouraker of Lakewood Ranch, Florida; and many friends who loved him dearly.
Visitation is on Friday December 18, 2020 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel (5234 W. State Hwy EE Springfield Mo.) from 1-2 pm service will be held at 2 pm with burial at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
