Eloise Sprenger, 97, of Springfield, MO passed away on June 11, 2018. She was born May 24, 1921 to Otto and Vanita (Rice) Clayton in Marshfield, MO. She spent the majority of her life in Springfield where she worked in cosmetics and attended Campbell United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters; Joyce Butcher and Nadeen Way, brother; Otto Clayton Jr., husband of 59 years Roman J. Sprenger  and a niece; Holly Butcher.

Eloise is survived by her nephew, Joe Don Butcher; two nieces, JaNell  Hedges and Karla Divin and husband Ken, as well as their two children, Kenny Divin and Benjamin Divin and wife Jenay.

Eloise's family would like to thank the residents and staff of The Cambridge for all their service and kindness.

Family will receive friends and relatives on Friday June 15 ^th from 2-3 p.m. at Campbell United Methodist Church, 1747 E Republic Rd, Springfield. A Memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. Entombment will take place at MO Veterans Cemetery, privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Campbell United Methodist Church in Eloise's memory
