Virginia Elsie (McCullough) Price was born in Monett, Missouri on August 12, 1927 to Clarence and Alta McCullough. She went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2020 at Colonial Springs Healthcare in Buffalo, Missouri at the age of 92.

She graduated from Springfield High School (Central) and went to work at Bell Telephone Company. She met and married Thomas Price on September 25, 1946. After starting a family, she became a full time homemaker. She loved to garden, travel, camp and fish. She was always busy in her garden, canning vegetables and tending to her flowers. Bird watching and hunting mushrooms were favorites too. She was a quiet woman and will truly be missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, her parents, brother John and sister Rosali, and one great grandson. Survivors include her daughter Linda and husband Joe, Buffalo, Missouri, son Jerry and his long time friend, Effie, grandsons Shane and Brent Nunn and wife Theresa, Jeremy Price, Chad and Jeff Abercrombie and wife Amber, and granddaughter, Ashley Price and nine great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 10, 2020 at 10:00 am at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Missouri. Thanks to all of you for your prayers for Virginia and the family. We hope all of you will be drawn closer to our Heavenly Father.
