Virginia Mae Hesher, 87, of Ozark, died in her sleep, Friday, Dec. 16, 2016 at the Baptist Home in Ozark, Missouri. She was born December 2, 1929 in Independence, Missouri, to Paul and Neva Mann. She married Dale Hesher on Sept. 6, 1947.
Surviving are her children, Teresa Dobson of Springfield, two sons, Dennis (Margaret) Hesher of Ozark, and Clifford Hesher of Marshfield, MO; one sister Alice Jefferies of Independence; one granddaughter Angie Brooks; three grandsons Jason Dobson, Chris Hesher and Luke Hesher.
Virginia''s husband Dale D. Hesher and two grandsons, Corey and Cameron Hesher preceded her in death.
Virginia was a long time resident of the Kansas City area where she lived since childhood before retiring to Springfield with Dale in 1993. She graduated from Buckner High School in 1947 and worked as a secretary for many years.
She loved to be surrounded by her family. She also enjoyed volunteering and contributed a lot of time at her church.
The visitation is from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, with services at 10:30 at the Baptist Home in Ozark. Reverend Tommy Harper will be officiating. The burial will be at Rivermonte Cemetery.
