Virginia P. Hendrickson, 92, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 in Springfield, MO. She was born to Charles Dameron and Nora Downing on April 8, 1922 in San Diego, CA.

Virginia married Roger on October 12, 1940 in Halltown, MO. They enjoyed 63 years of marriage until his passing on July 18, 2004.
She retired from the Greene Co. Sheriff''s as their Matran.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; sister, Charlen Dameron; sons, Roger, Jr. and Buddy Joseph Hendrickson.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Sue Parker-Lewis (Mike) of Oldfield, MO; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 9-10 A.M. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel. Committal ceremony will be held at 1:00 P.M. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
