Virginia Ruth Cronk, 63, of Springfield MO, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, August 31, 2018. She was born January 22, 1955 in Ava, MO to Robert and Ruth (Bray) Sagerser. Virginia was the third of seven children.

She married Wayne Cronk and to this union they were blessed with two children, Amber and Jessica. Virginia worked as a cook with the Springfield Public School System for the past 20+ years. She also worked at the customer service desk at Walmart (west sunshine) for the past 18 years. Virginia loved to sew and bake but the thing she loved the most was her grandchildren. She was a loving and kind person who was loved by everyone who met her.

Virginia is preceded in death by her Mother, two brothers; Herbert and Dale Sagerser, grandchild; Paisley as well as a niece; Melinda Plaster.

Left to mourn her passing are her Father; Robert, her two daughters; Amber Hendricks and Jessica (and husband Ryan) Broyles, grandchildren; Jasymin, Zachary, Caleb, Chastity, Ryan, Landon and Ashtyn, great grandson; Robert, sisters, Pauline Cox, Shirley Garrett , Marie Gardner and Gale Dutton, brother; David Sagerser as well as a host of nieces, nephews and countless friends. Virginia will be greatly missed by all whose heart has been touched by her.

Family will receive friends and family on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at the chapel at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home (4500 S Lone Pine, Springfield). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 11 ^th at 10 a.m. also in the chapel at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
