Violet "Louise" Vaughn, 83, of Springfield, MO passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. She was born in Pocahontas, AR to Jessie Havey and Arthur J. Blackwell on September 24, 1930.

Her hobbies included crossword puzzles, bird watching, fishing, bowling and horse races. She was an avid Cardinals baseball fan and enjoyed reading a good mystery novel.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers Charles, Utah and Kenneth Blackwell; 2 sisters Mae Patterson and Patsy Ford.

She is survived by her 2 children; Harold King and fiance Vickie Short of St. Clair, MO and Margaret and Mark Gilles of Nixa, MO; 1 brother Jerry Blackwell; numerous friends and relatives.

A private memorial services will be held at a later date and time.
