Violet E. Rogers, 94, of Springfield, MO went home to be with her Lord surrounded by her loving family on October 25 ^th 2018. She was born in Ohio on April 11, 1924.

She married Elden Rogers on December 8, 1941 in St. Charles, MO. To this union they were blessed with two sons, James and Jerry. Violet loved being a mother and a wife, making her family the center of her world. She loved nature and was most comfortable out in the country. Violet loved her animals, cookies, black coffee and chocolate bars.  She was married to Eldon for 68 years prior to his passing on April 12, 2009. Violet will be greatly missed by all whose lives had been touched by her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Eldon and two granddaughters; Christiana and Michelle.

Left to mourn her passing is her children; James and Jerry, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A Graveside service is scheduled for Monday October 29 ^th at 2 o'clock p.m. at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
