Viola Cardwell of Nixa, Mo passed away Saturday June 9, 2012 in Springfield, MO. Viola was born in Orange, CA to Amon & Lucy Irvine Hobson on January 25, 1924. She married Joe Cardwell on February 20, 1945 in Orange, CA. Viola was a dedicated homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Joe, a daughter Judy Winters, a son Stephen Cardwell, two granddaughters, seven great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
A graveside service will be held Monday June 11, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield.
