Vesta Faye Miller, the most kind, generous and loving mother left this world to join her Heavenly
Father Friday, January 19, 2024. Mama loved the Lord and loved her family. She was a member
of Crossway Baptist under the leadership of her pastor, Dr. Eddie Bumpers.

Vesta was born January 26, 1929. As a teenage girl, she was born again into God's family at
Noble Hill Baptist where she asked Jesus to come into her heart. Momma and daddy raised five
children and have faithfully served the Lord these many years.

Vesta was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years, Elgin Ivon Miller; her father,
Everette Beach; her mother, Bertha Agnes Justice; four brothers, Robert Beach, Raymond Beach,
Rex Beach and Ray Beach; one sister, Viola (Tummons) Garner; and grandson, Michael Chad
Painter.

Surviving Vesta are five children -- two daughters, Ellen Painter (Mike), Elizabeth Painter
(Wendell); three sons, Michael Miller; Mark (Kelly) Miller; and Milan (Jamie) Miller. Vesta dearly
loved her 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Also,
surviving is one sister, Vergie Dixon and one brother, Carl (Sharon) Beach. And many, many nieces
and nephews whom she loved as her own children.

For the last nine months, Vesta has made her home at Assisted Living, Riverview Residential Place
in Ozark MO. She loved her small apartment and quickly made friends with everyone. One of her
biggest blessings was having her brother, Carl, in the apartment next to hers. Another big plus is
her oldest grandson Travis Miller worked there also. Every morning, Travis would knock on
Grandma's door, wake her up and help pick out clothes she would wear for the day. Carl would see
that Vesta made it to breakfast on time and was very attentive to not only her needs, but to
everyone living at Riverview. Also, among the amazing Riverview staff, three women stand out as
exceptional Care Givers, Nancy, Julie and Kaye. Enough good cannot be expressed for the loving,
tender care these two women poured out to Vesta. We will forever be indebted to them. Mother
loved everyone. Three special friends, Janet, Meta and Judy sat at her table every day.

The family thanks Riverview Residential Care. It is an exceptional organization in every way, from
cleanliness and nutritional meals to outstanding care from the staff. Our Momma was truly loved.

Visitation will be 6:00p – 8:00p, Thursday, January 25, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be
officiated by her grandson, Pastor Jacob Miller and Pastor Boone Middleton at 10:00a Friday,
January 26,2024. Both services will be held at Crossway Baptist, 2900 N Barnes, Springfield
MO. Burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
