Verla Faye (Meeker) Seelye Robertson beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Sister and Friend, passed away Sunday morning, August 4, 2024, in Springfield, MO. Born October 6, 1947, in Pekin, IL. Verla was a life-long military wife who traveled extensively with her family to support them on various deployments.

She is survived by her children, William Seelye II, Coral Seelye Hubbard and husband, Lloyd, Ramon Seelye and wife, Angie, and their father, William H. Seelye Sr.; ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Richard L. Robertson Jr., Carl Robertson, Rodney Robertson, Rosemary Robertson, Robin Hviteved and Donald Robertson; twelve step-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Verla is preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Richard L. Robertson Sr. on May 4, 2024.

She was deeply loved and will be truly missed.

Graveside service will be at 9:00 A.M. Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery: 5201 S. Southwood Rd. Springfield, MO 65804.
