Verl R. Jean, 83, was born Nov. 13, 1928 in Oxford, AR to Therman and Winnie Jean. He passed away Feb. 29,2012. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenneth and Gerald Jean; grandson, Michael Lonnie Jean; granddaughter, Christine Chambers. Surviving Verl are his wife of 60 years, Peggy Jean; son, Robert Jean; daughter, Connie Nelson; grandchildren, Jonathan Jean (Alicia), Stephanie Collins (Clayton), Rachel Lea Ham (Brian), Jeri Nelson; great-children, Timothy, Sydney and Braxton Verl Jean. Ethan Collins, Anthony Nelson; sisters-in-law, June and Nina Jean. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 1 at the Klingner-COpe Funeral Home at White Chapel from 5-7pm. The funeral service will be on Friday at the same location at 1:30pm with interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1500 S.
