Vera M. Ferrone, 96, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in Springfield, MO. She was born to Mary Etta Stalter and Benjamin TenEyck on January 6, 1919 in Beacon, NY.
Vera married Joseph in July of 1940 and they enjoyed 65 years of marriage before his passing in 2005. She worked as a secretary during WWII at the US Military Academy at West Point, NY. Following the war years Vera worked for the Fishkill National Bank in NY for over 40 years holding the positions of Head Cashier, Trust Officer and Vice President. Her retirement years were spent with Joe enjoying their lake cottage, particularly with grandchildren and friends. For the last 14 years, she was involved and enjoyed spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband; sister, Nora Komornik; and brother, Harold TenEyck.
Vera is survived by her daughter, Veronica Coulter (James) of Turners, MO; grandsons, Christopher Coulter (Isabel) and their children Victoria and Adrian; Terrance Coulter and his children, Will and Eliza; Adam Coulter (Analita) and their children Alexander and Danielle; and life long family friends, Dan Dakotas and Bro. Julius Tysck, O.F.M.Cap.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 10 A.M. in the Klingner Cope Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave, Springfield, MO
Family is requesting memorial donations be made to St. Lawrence Monastery, 180 Sergeant Ave, Beacon, NY 12508.
