Troy L. Groesbeck, aka Jake, was born on March 4, 1932 to Abbie and William Groesbeck in Reeds Springs, Missouri. He passed away peacefully from this life and into the next on July 19, 2019.

Troy was a proud Korean Conflict veteran. After his time in the U.S. Army, Troy came home and began working and raising a family. Troy was retired from the State of Missouri.

Troy married Wilma Shirlene Hicks on December 11, 1955 and they had three children, Cheryl, Andy and Scott.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirlene, brothers; Almond, Bert, Earl and Willard, sisters; Stella, Alvretta (Becky), Mearl and Lola.

He is survived by his children; Cheryl Phillips and husband Bill, Andy Groesbeck and wife Marvena and Scott Groesbeck and wife Kelly, Donald Jensen and wife Jennifer, five grandchildren; Jordan Phillips and wife Laura, Ashley Durham, Chris Phillips, Mallory Groesbeck and Daryl Groesbeck and wife Tosha, 4 great grandchildren: Ella Phillips, Emerie Phillips, Liam Groesbeck and Ari Phillips; along with a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Troy was a stranger to no one, was loved by all who ever met and knew him, and he returned the favor back to all; he enjoyed life to the fullest wherever he was and made sure everyone around did as well. He will be missed by all.
