Thetis James Davis, 81 of Springfield passed away September 2, 2012. He was born in Sparta, MO on August 23, 1931 to Claude and Sarah Davis.
Thetis is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marlene Melvina Davis; four sons, Eddie James Davis and his wife Deanna of Billings, Thetis Ray Davis and his wife Sue of Springfield, Donald Dean Davis of Springfield, Ronald Dale Davis and his wife Elaine of Springfield; brother, Roy Dale Davis and his wife Helen of Hilandville; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and a host of other caring relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 6:00 till 8:00 PM at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO. Graveside services will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM.
