Theresa Maxine Doyle, 87, of Weatherford, OK passed away at 11:21 PM on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at her home with family by her side. She was born on Saturday, March 16, 1935 in Satanta, KS, to Levi and Florence Rutledge.

She graduated high school in Eads, Colorado, where she met and married Howard Young. They had five children Levi, Angela, Howard Victor, Evan and Alvin. Theresa lived and worked in Springfield, MO, where she met co-worker Sharon Gentry. After Sharon's husband died, they shared their home for 30 some years and shared many adventures. Theresa enjoyed playing cards, going to garage sales, gardening, painting, skiing, and traveling with her many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Edna Dufur and two brothers Don and Ellis Rutledge.

Theresa is survived by her five children Levi Young (wife Julie) of Luther, OK, Angela Burdick (husband Henry) of Weatherford, OK, Howard Victor Young (wife Debbie) of Guthrie, OK, Evan Young and Alvin Young (wife Rose) of Springfield, MO, 18 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A visitation will be held from 12-1 PM on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO 65802 with funeral services to follow at 1 PM. Memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Jude's or the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
