Terry Hover, 61, of Springfield went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 9th, in his home. He devoted his life to God, in loving service to his family, the church, and to many children in the community. Terry will be remembered by many at Bingham Elementary as their first grade teacher from 1976 until 2007.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Laura Hover, and his brother, Darrell Hover. Terry is survived by his loving wife Tryphena, children Erin and Keith Owens, and Jared and Luisa Cooper, eight grandchildren, one brother, Tom Hover and wife Diane and numerous other family and friends.
A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, February 12th, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home, 1635 N. Benton. The funeral service will be Monday, February 13th, at 11:00 at King''s Chapel, 2434 E. Cherry, Springfield, MO 65802.
The family has requested memorial donations be made in Terry''s name to the Children''s Programs at King''s Chapel.
Terry will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
