Susan D'Nell Long, 63, of Springfield, MO went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 15, 2018. She was born on February 24, 1955 in Fredricksburg, TX to Thomas and Norma Sue (Evans) Shiflet.

On December 29, 1992, Susan married Barry Long in Springfield, MO. She enjoyed reading, bingo and watching the Dallas Cowboys play football and the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball. Most of all she loved her family and the time she spent with them.

Preceding her in death are her parents; uncle; Joe Carter and many dear family members and friends.

Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Barry; daughters, Jennifer Williams (David) and Missy England; sons, John Harris (Trisha), Jarek Harris and Phillip Long (Vala); sister, Jean Parrott (Chris); aunt Billie Carter; 10 grandchildren, Austin, Kolby, Kelsey, Lizzie, Tabitha, Phillip, Gabriel, Deacon, Leatha, Dakota.

The Family would like to thank Integrity Hospice and nurse Julie at Jordan Creek Nursing and Rehab.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte (4500 S. Lone Pine Springfield, MO 65804) with a visitation to be held one hour prior at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
