Sula Jean Hammond passed away on January 29, 2012 at her home in Springfield, Mo. She will always be remembered for her love of life and her positive happy nature.
Jean was secretary for Floyd White Farms, Inc., Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Central Excavating, Inc., Richmond, Ca.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Wade Hammond. She also had a keen interest in politics and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Loren white, her parents, Alma and Charles Hargrave of Rector, AR., Sisters Aylene Ross, Neva Sprutte and brother Joe Hargrave.
Jean is survived by her husband, 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 from 6-8 P.M., with services to be Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 2 P.M. at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, Mo.
