Sue
Schreiner
Mar 21, 1950 — Sep 4, 2026
Sue Jane Schreiner was born in Springfield, MO on March 21st, 1950 to Perry & Nadine Davenport.
She attended Bissett Elementary, Pipkin Junior High and Central High School. Sue had 4 children, Melissa, Eddie, Deborah and Randall Mitchell.
On September 13, 1976 she was married to Clifford Schreiner, and lived in the Springfield area until her death. She worked for Taco Bell for several years and retired from there. She was also a member of the Henderson Baptist Church in Rogersville.
Sue was preceded in death by her daughters Melissa and Deborah, her parents Perry and Nadine, her siblings: Bobby Dean Wilson, Perry Davenport Jr., Richard Davenport, Maudie Louise Davenport, Louis Gene Joe Davenport, and grandchild Jimmy Wayne Mitchell.
She is survived by her husband Clifford Schreiner, and children Eddie and Randall Mitchell. Her siblings David (Marlene) Davenport from Rogersville, Roxie (Jim) Rosenbaum of Greenfield, MO, Diane (Gary) Boyet of Springfield, MO and Larry (Cheryl) Davenport of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, many nieces and nephews, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren, Rylee, Kelce & Marlei.
Sue developed a toughness in her younger years that served and suited her well. To say she loved her family fiercely would be an understatement. Her toughness was only matched by her ornery streak. If you knew her, undoubtedly you have a story showcasing these traits.
Sue loved the simple things in life, collecting trinkets, playing scratchers or a hand of cards with friends and spending time at the casino. Her happiest days were spent with her husband hunting, fishing and going on drives to see wildlife.
She had a way of leaving an impression on everyone who knew her. She was strong, protective, quick-witted and kept everyone on their toes. Her stories, laughter and memories of the trouble she would get into or get others into will be treasured by all who knew her.
Sue went to be with the Lord on September 4th while doing what she loved.
