Steven Ellis Watson was born on Thursday, March 30, 1952, in Springfield Missouri to Earl Thomas Watson and Eunice Faye Watson. He was a brother to Donald Earl Watson.  Uncle to Kathy Watson and Greg Watson. Beloved father of Julie Morton, Steven Danial Watson, Jennifer Johnston, and Billy David Watson.

A Loving grandfather to Amber, Erin, Ashley, Nicole, Jessica, Alex, Thomas. Followed by his great grandchildren Evelyn, Ezekiel, Trinity, Raven, Gabriel, Mira, Hugh, Helen, and Kobe.

Steve was a Loving and Kind Father and friend. He loved playing music and tinkering with inventions.

Steven passed peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2024, in Springfield Missouri.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday, May 3, 2024, in the Eastlawn Funeral Home: 2244 E. Pythian St. Springfield, Mo 65802. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM with funeral service starting at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Cemetery
