Obituary

Steven Charles Schreiber was born May 20th, 1964 to Albert Earl Schreiber and Jo Nell Walsh. He passed peacefully on August 18th, 2021 surrounded by family and love.
Steve was greeted on the other side by his late brother Howard, grandmother "Big Mama", and stepfathers: Brian Brown and Patrick Walsh.
Steve is survived by his son Steven (Emmett), father Albert (Patsy), mother Jo Walsh (Brian Brown - deceased and Patrick Walsh - deceased), sister Tammy Russell, and his nieces Lori Stilley and Kelli Sherman (Kevin).
Steve was a man of many talents and passions. He was a master plumber for over 30 years. Steve was extremely proud of his work.  He plumbed many unique buildings, fountains and large projects.
Steve was an avid skier in his youth.  He enjoyed off-roading, fishing, camping and spending time in the outdoors throughout his life. He loved tinkering with engines and was a skilled self-taught mechanic. Steven had a sense of humor that knew no boundaries! He enjoyed comedy clubs and history documentaries. Steven was proud of his service in the United States Marine Corp and was a true patriot.
Steve's greatest pride was his son, Steven. Steven will miss his dad's funny jokes, life stories and late-night chats. Steve was a loving father and devoted to his son.
Services will be held Thursday, August 26th at 6:30 PM at Haymes Chapel. 2070 Short State Highway Y, Elkland, MO, 65644 . A graveside celebration will be held immediately following at the Hunt family cemetery adjacent to the chapel. Please come share your favorite stories and memories of Steve.
