Steve Carnahan, 45 of Nixa, was born on March 16, 1970 in Springfield, MO to Charlotte Mae (Beaver) and Franklin Reed Carnahan. He passed away on August 28, 2015 in St. Louis, MO.

He liked to engrave knifes, go to the gun range and spend time with his family and friends. He had a special place in his heart for intellectually challenged children and adults.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by 2 sisters, Barbara McCown and Betty Williams of Springfield; brother, Dale Carnahan and wife Norma of Clever; 2 special aunts, Idella and Caroline; 3 nieces; 2 nephews and a very dear friend, Peter and numerous family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 2 p.m. in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Steve to the donor''s choice of charity to help intellectually challenged children and adults.
