Stephen E. Paris, 61, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014. He was born April 26, 1952 in Kansas City, Mo to Howard and Joan Paris.

He enjoyed camping and gardening. He was a very active member in Scouting and was a founding member of the Dr. Michael J. Clarke Museum of Ozarks Scouting. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren were his pride and joy.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Stephen is survived by his wife of 38 years Linda Paris; 2 children Geoffrey (Rachel) Stone and Jennifer (Terry) Green; 6 grandchildren Austin, Dakota, Tyler, Eric, Zachary and Nathan; his brother Craig; 3 sisters JoEllen, Cheri and Susie and a host of family and friends.

Memorial donations may be made in honor of Stephen to the Order of the Arrow Wah-sha-she Lodge #42 which may be sent to the funeral home 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave. Springfield, MO 65804.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte with services at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Rivermonte Chapel burial to follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
