Shirley Burk, 77, passed away September 4, 2015 in Springfield, MO. She was born May 2, 1938 in Sacville, MO to Maggie Ida Dement and Ben Howard Gifford.

Shirley loved her Lord. She liked to travel, going to casinos, spending time with her family and her high school alumni friends.

Preceding in death were her parents; 1 daughter, Dora Denise Burk; 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include her 3 children, Craig (Denise) Burk of Kansas City, MO, Curtis (Rhondaa) Burk, Jamie (Bob) Pyle and 1 brother, Ben (Lavon) Gifford, all of Springfield, MO; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 10th from 5-7 pm in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO. Funeral Services will be Friday, Sept. 11th at 10 AM with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Willard, MO.
