Sharon Kay Misner, 79, of Springfield, MO passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at her home with family by her side. She was born on Thursday, July 15, 1943 in Republic, MO to Clara Bell Gooch and Al Misner.

Sharon was a member of the Blind Center and worked at the Springfield Workshop. She never met a stranger and always had a smile. Sharon loved a good cup of coffee, Yahtzee, fishing and crafting, especially beadwork. The family would like to give a special thank-you to the staff at the Arc of the Ozarks and Access Hospice for the compassion and care that they showed her all these years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Paula Ray.

Sharon is survived by her two brothers David and Allen Misner and three nieces Misty Grider (husband Dan), Sonya Pease and Jessica Misner-Weir.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, MO 65804 with funeral services to follow at 10 AM on Thursday, May 11, 2023.
