Sarah Jean (Davis) Leslie/Aunt Peck was born October 26, 1920 in Hartville, MO to Henry and Anna Harris Davis.
She united in marriage to James Leslie, moved to Springfield, MO. To this union no children were born.
Several years of her life was spent traveling with James who was in the U.S. Army. She spent the remainder of her life in Springfield, MO working in the nursing field and helping others reach their spiritual goals with the Lord at her church. Her life was dedicated to being faithful to God and serving others, especially her church members.
Her famous quote: "If you give God your best he will do the rest."
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Leslie; brother, King Davis; three sisters, Bertha Kincannon, Virginia (Ginnie) Trout and Bessie Davis; nieces, Julia Thompkins and Henrietta Huddleston; nephew, Jimmy Thompkins.
She leaves to cherish her life a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
