Sandra was born July 13, 1943 to Owen and Lula Brown in Jefferson City Missouri. She had three older siblings who all preceded her in death; Roy Brown, Barbara Bradley, and Mickey Brown. Sandra grew up in Springfield and graduated from Hillcrest High school. After graduation, she moved to Denver Colorado and lived many years there. In 1975, she moved back to Springfield with her family. Sandra worked in the Green County Assessor's office until she retired.

Sandra married Carl Dickens in 1994 and they had a wonderful life together until his death in 2018. At that time, she moved to southwest Florida to be closer to family. She died peacefully in her home on March 2nd, 2021.

She was loved and will be remembered by; daughter Mimi Suter and her husband Ron, son Mike Patron and his wife Heather, son Jack Dickens and his wife Cindy, niece Pam Erwin and her partner Susan. She was also a loving grandmother "Monya" to Lilly, Jessica, Michael, Lindsey, Hunter, and JJ. And great grandmother to Jeremy.

Sandra loved all animals, flowers, plants, and home decorating. She was a woman of strong faith who looked forward to walking with God.

A private burial will take place at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery in Springfield, MO.
