Sally Pender was the oldest of nine children; born to Charley and Vera Wright-Williams at LePanto, Arkansas on April 2, 1927. Sally passed from this life on October 5, 2022.

Sally met her husband Bill in 1946 after his return from WWII and married on October 24, 1947. From this union, 2 sons, Douglas and Michael were born. Sally had three grandsons Sean, Michael Douglas and Dane, three great grandsons, one granddaughter and 1 great-great grandson.

Sally is preceded in death by her husband Bill, her son Douglas and his wife Perri Lynn, three brothers and three sisters.

Sally was a member of the Second Baptist church since 1961.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, October 15, 2022 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home Chapel at Rivermonte, Springfield. The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, Springfield.
