Ruthie Faye Osborne, 92, of Springfield, MO passed away peacefully on Monday April 8, 2019 at Republic Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Clay City, Illinois on March 7, 1927 to Jasper and Mary (Grey) .
Ruth was a clerk for the Mark Twain Department of Forestry for many years and drove a truck cross-country for 17 ½ years. She was an excellent crocheter, and avid reader and she also loved to knit, but most of all she loved her family. Ruth never complained about anything, she was always happy and always had a smile on her face.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, a grandson; Corey and a son-in-law Al Stuckey. Left to mourn her passing is her daughters; Mary Stuckey and Sandy Zumwalt and husband Brad, grandson Nick and wife Shannon, great granddaughter Madi, a brother; Robert Lynn Grey and wife Phyllis as well as a host of nieces, nephews and countless friends. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives came in contact with her.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the kind, compassionate and caring service their Mom received from the staff at Republic Nursing and Rehab as well as Preferred Hospice.
A Visitation is scheduled for Monday April 15 th from 10-11 a.m in the Chapel at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte. Funeral services will follow at 11am. Entombment will be private in the Mausoleum at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
