Ruth Mae Luttrell (nee Price) passed away in Springfield, Missouri, on July 5, 2023, at the age of 99. At the time of her death, Ruth was a resident of Birch Pointe Health and Rehab where she was staying while her son, Mark, had surgery.

Ruth was born in Ebenezer, Missouri, on September 27, 1924, to Harve William Price and Daisy Mae Buckner. She lived in the Springfield and Branson areas throughout her life. Ruth married John Matherly in 1942. To this union was born a son, Donald Wayne Matherly, who preceded her in death in 2016. Ruth married William Chester Luttrell in 1948. He preceded her in death in February of 1995. To this union was born a son, Mark Lynn Luttrell, who passed away January 10, 2024.

Ruth was a devoted wife and mother. She loved the Lord and enjoyed reading her Bible. Her greatest joy was caring for her family and providing a clean, loving home for them.

Ruth is survived by a grandson, Scotty Matherly; a sister, Kay; and several extended family members.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Windy, her parents, a son, and two brothers.
