Ruth E. Sagerser, 83, of Springfield, MO passed away Monday, March 9, 2015. She was born January 4, 1932 in Charleston, MO to Ira and Loucille (Allison) Bray.
Ruth married Robert Glen Sagerser on April 1, 1951 in Goodhope, MO. She loved to garden, enjoyed crotching and spending time with family, grandchildren and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; 2 sons, Herbert Glen and Dale Eugene; 1 brother, Floyd Bray, 1 granddaughter, 3 sons-in-law and 1 great-grandson.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years; 5 daughters, Pauline (Kevin) Cox of Rogersville, Virginia Cronk of Springfield, Shirley Garrett of Marshfield, Marie Gardner of Nixa and Gail (Bernie) Dutton of Oklahoma City, OK; 1 son, David Sagerser of Jefferson City, MO; 1 sister, Rose Rabold of Perryville, MO; 20 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 11, from 6-8 P.M. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the First Assembly of God Church in Nixa, MO officiated by Pastor Donnie Blansit and Rev. Richard Turner. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO.
