Roy is survived by his children:  Eugenna Taylor (Tim) of Dayton, WY, Randall Scott Spracklen, Fair Grove and Ryan Douglas Spracklen (Sherrie), Pleasant Hope.  Also surviving are his grandchildren:  Angela Klebba, Jenny Klebba, Taylor Spracklen, Kaitlyn Cowart (Mark), Clinton Spracklen, and Justin Spracklen; great-grandchildren: Aurora Switzer, Acacia Switzer, Avriana Switzer, and Tobias Spracklen.  His siblings Merle Spracklen (Geneva) and Nellie Miller (Joe) Washington state and sister in law Brenda Spracklen of Willard.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Roy was a graduate of Central High School, Springfield, MO.  Roy was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals, including the Good Conduct Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal.  He served 5 years with distinction as a Navy CB in Vietnam.  He then became an over-the-road truck driver and served all over the United States and Canada.  He loved being in the cab of the truck, meeting new people, catching up with old driving friends at truck stops, and seeing all the different parts of the country.  He took great pride in his safe driving.  He had a stroke in 2003 which left him permanently disabled. Caregiving was provided by his wife Dianne from 2003-2011 while at their home in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. He was a resident at Springfield Villa for the past 7 years where h e enjoyed watching western shows and playing checkers and chess with his grandsons who often caught him cheating. He enjoyed the time spent there with his family, the staff, and Hospice caregivers. He loved the Lord and spent many of his days in prayer for all of his loved ones. Thank you to all who participated in his care since his stroke and who visited with him in person, by phone, and by sending cards and gifts .

Graveside services will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO on September 25, 2018 at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in his honor to West End Assembly of God, 6936 Road 61, Fruitland, WA 99129 where his brother-in-law and sister are the lead pastors .
