Rosemary Hoke was born on February 10th, 1927, in Chicago, IL to Lois Mae (Biggs) Creek and Morris Sigsbee "Bud" Creek. She passed away May 6th, 2015, at the age of 88.

Rosemary was raised in Marshfield, MO and while attending Marshfield High School she lettered in volleyball. The family moved to Springfield where she graduated from Central High School in 1945. Following high school, she worked locally and enjoyed being a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, a women''s philanthropic sorority.
Rosemary married David Hoke in Joplin, MO on September 6th, 1947 and they enjoyed 67 years of marriage. Part of their married life was spent in Lamar, CO and in 1953 they returned to Springfield, MO to raise their three children near family. Rosemary was a woman of devotion and used her time on earth to enjoy, care for and love her family. As a mother, she volunteered with the Boy Scouts as a team mom, the PTA and Campfire Girls. She cheerfully ran kids around town to their events and helped them be their very best in all of their activities. As a grandmother, Rosemary never tired of spoiling her grandkids, planning fun trips and creating an atmosphere of bliss for summer fun. Personally, Rosemary found time to enjoy her many hobbies as well. She became a talented painter in her spare time. Her paintings are truly incredible and it amazed her family that she had never been formally trained. She enjoyed bowling, tennis, and entertaining! David and she loved to play card games with close friends and taking the family on vacations. Later, they traveled to many countries but New Zealand and Europe were their favorite. They attended events all over the country in support of their grandchildren including graduations and weddings. They were able to celebrate both of their parents'' 50th & 60th Wedding Anniversaries. Their own 65th Wedding Anniversary was a celebration to remember!

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas David Hoke; parents; brothers, Laverne and Billy Creek; and sister, Carol Ann Mills.

She is survived by her daughter Linda (Hoke) Marshall (husband Skip); sons, Charles David Hoke and David Alan Hoke (wife Mary); sister, Barbara Sue Porter; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 from 5-7 P.M., at Klingner-Cope Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Services will be held at 10 A.M., Saturday, May 23, 2015, in the Chapel. Rosemary will be laid to rest in the Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
