Rose Carolyn Doran, 83, of Springfield, MO passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. She was born on Wednesday, October 6, 1937 in Scotland, MO to Hazel (Owens) and James M. Stow.

Rose Graduated from Strafford High School in 1955. She married Winzer D. Doran of Ozark, MO on May 13, 1960 and to this union one child was born. Rose loved cooking and sewing. She was a very caring person and will be missed by all.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter Dana Dee Doran, two brother-in-laws Morris Powell and Jerry Dalton, one sister-in-law Mary A. Stow, one nephew Matt Stow and one great-nephew Tyler Stow.

She is survived by three sisters Betty Powell, Dora Dembowski (husband Jack) and Barbara Dalton, two brothers James E. Stow and John D. Stow (wife Annalea) and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family that she loved like they were her own kids.

A visitation will be held from 11-12 PM on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, MO 65804 with funeral services to follow at 12 PM. Burial will take place at Eastlawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
