Robert Gene Vaughn Sr. joined the love of his life Hazel Marie Vaughn and his only daughter Janet Vaughn in heaven on September 15, 2011. He was born on February 28, 1938 to Thomas Clifford and Lena Willingham Vaughn.
In addition to his wife and daughter, he was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.
Surviving Robert is his sons, Robert Vaughn II and wife Tracy, Russell Vaughn and wife Christina, and Richard Vaughn, twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; a brother, Cecil Vaughn and wife Rose, a sister Evelena, several nieces and nephews.
A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, September 18 from 3 to 5 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home, 1635 N. Benton. Funeral service will be held Monday, September 19, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Garden.
Robert will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
